The anatomy of desire and manifesting
Two weeks ago I had an epiphany moment. It was a moment of full blown joy. I felt happy all the way through from the depths of my soul. It was a moment on my journey in which I felt I’ve passed some rite of passage and have shifted energies and moved forward on my path. It is an indescribable feeling and something I’ve never experienced before – it could probably be best described by the word BLISS. A couple of days later my dad came to visit and we shared a day of warmness and closeness. Then he had to go and even though we’ve said temporary “goodbyes” to…

Follow your feelings
You have been given the power to feel for a reason. It is not a curse, nor a weakness. Your feelings are your built-in guidance system. Trust them. Never question or doubt them. Learn to listen to their subtle moves. Catch them when they are gentle ripples rather than when they’ve escalated into stormy waves. Follow the good feelings. When do you really feel good? Do more of that! And the bad ones – acknowledge them. What are they telling you? Do not ignore them, they are telling you something. Your feelings are your connection to your source, they are the way you are spoken to by your god. Never…

You and your feelings are valid
Have you been told to stop being so emotional, so sensitive, so dramatic, to stop making such a big deal or fuss out of nothing? Have you felt like your feelings, the way you perceive the world, are being discredited all the time? Have you ended up doubting yourself and how you feel about things in general? It’s time we stop that nonsense and start raising the awareness. Being sensitive, emotional, an introvert, an empath, isn’t being a “less than”. It is who you are. It is who you are meant to be, it is enough, it is unique, it is beautiful and it is powerful. Your emotions are valid.…

Embracing our (complex) human nature
Hey everyone, I’ve missed you! I often find myself distracted in many ways in life. Then I start feeling very anxious and then I realise it often is because I haven’t written in a while. (I know I’ve said that before.) The thing is that when we’re by ourselves, not really doing anything creative, our minds can run wild. It’s like our minds are looking hard to find something to do and when we’re not giving them that, they starts going rampant in our heads. Do you feel that sometimes? I can’t pin point why this is happening, why we still procrastinate, even when we know the process quite well.…

How to work with difficult feelings
“Happiness is not only our birthright. It is also our obligation.” The days and weeks roll by and I find it hard to sit and write. Too much is going through my head but can’t seem to be able to stop, sit and capture it. What I’ve been struggling with for the last weeks is to find the meaning. The meaning of it all. I keep ask myself Why am I here? What’s the point of it? You see the days go on – work, school, whatever, then home, and on it goes. Sometimes it feels so pointless, so hard to find a meaning to keep going. Then I tell myself…

Thoughts on self-love
The other day I decided to dig a little deeper and find some answers to some clear questions. I’ve identified that my main “issues” have to do with my worth, or how I value myself. Do I believe I am worthy and deserving? And if not, why? I figured that the areas of life where I struggle most are: people e.g. creating meaningful connections with other human beings, and money e.g. creating financial stability and wealth in general, not just money. Why is it hard to experience pure loving relationships with people? And why is it hard to attract money and have financial wealth? Both questions together – Why is…

Remembering what matters: on being social, school troubles and birthdays
Currently there’s about three planets residing in or near the realms of Aquarius, including the sun. That means we all get to experience a lot of Aquarian qualities. And if you don’t know what these are, I’ll give you a hint – the representatives of this zodiac sign are called “the social butterflies” of the zodiac wheel. No wonder I haven’t been able to get to my blog in ages. But that doesn’t mean I’ve been quiet on the social front. Besides ruling social groups and settings, Aquarius also rules internet and technology. Yes, you guessed it – I’ve been busy communicating with people through any media possible – email, messaging, phone, and in person. And no,…

My dance with astrology: on anger, revolutionaries and colouring
I have meant to write an article on astrology, what it means for me, and what I’ve figured learning about it. I should say I have near zero experience with astrology and do not claim to be even an astrology student. But I did read a few books and one lead me to the other. I started with trying to understand my birth chart with all its aspects, and I finished (for the time being) with the understanding that this chart is a star map about my current lifetime which my soul have chosen and written for me in order to experience certain things. And the same applies to you, to…

The death of the self: on toddler troubles, being human and name change
Sounds like an absurd combination of things and what does it have to do with the self? So here’s what happened last week – a mush of emotional turmoil, child’s excrement and personal transformation. My 2 1/2 year-old son Sylvian woke up in the middle of the night with a dreadful cough. He was wheezing and it sounded like he was barely able to breathe. I’ve never heard him like that, it sounded like he was suffocating. Together with my partner we wondered shall we go to the Emergency department. A short while later my son went back to sleep, still wheezing but at least able to breathe. In the morning…
